Before his arrest, murder suspect Raymond Clark tried to cover his tracks even as FBI agents and police searched the Yale lab where he worked. Clark, who has been charged with the murder of grad student Annie Le, was seen cleaning areas where Le had been before she died and trying to hide blood-spattered equipment, the Hartford Courant reports.

Police say Le tried to fight off her attacker: A bead from Le's necklace was found near where she last had been seen, and blood was found in the same area. Clark had scratches and bruises—he attributed them to softball and his cat. Clothing containing both their DNA was found in the crawl space where Le's body had been hidden.
