Thin Limbaugh Spars With Jay, Flattens Gore

A thinner Rush Limbaugh—he's dropped 82 pounds—showed up on Jay Leno's show last night to talk politics ("I'm not polarizing," Obama is) and flatten Al Gore. While taking Leno's "green car" challenge, Limbaugh ran over a cardboard cutout of Gore, then drew big laughs by backing over it. He and Leno sparred a bit on the growing gap between rich and poor, with Limbaugh saying it's not Leno's—or anyone's—business what other people make, writes Rachel Kolb at the Celebrity Cafe.
Asked who should be president, Limbaugh responded, "Me! But see, I don't want to take the pay cut." Verne Gay of Newsday found it interesting that the audience backed Limbaugh so strongly after his anti-Obama lines. "If this had been Letterman's audience, they woulda booed. So did this crowd show up because their man Rush was going to be on, or is the Leno audience simply more conservative/bread-basket? (Ummm...yeah. Duh.)"
