'Guardian Angel' Gives Birth, Returns Baby After Embryo Mistake

(AP) – The biological parents of a baby boy born to a woman implanted with the wrong embryo say they will remain "eternally grateful" for her decision to turn the baby over to them. The Toledo woman gave birth to a health baby boy this week after a fertility clinic mistakenly implanted her with an embryo from Paul and Shannon Morell of Michigan. The Morells today called Carolyn Savage their "guardian angel."

A clinic outside Ohio transferred the wrong frozen embryo in February. Ten days later, Savage got a call from a doctor saying she was pregnant with someone else's child. In an interview, she and her husband say they never considered terminating the pregnancy or fighting for custody. They have hired attorneys who say they are working to make sure the fertility clinic accepts responsibility.

The woman who continued w/ the pregnancy is an angel. The Glenn Beck comment is irrelevant. I can think of worse people to be compared to: Obama, Kim Jong, Putin, Fidel.....

So don't get the malpractice insurance to cover it. Pay for it out of pocket.
