NBC won't can rookie over nervous slip-up

(Newser) – SNL won't drop newbie Jenny Slate over the F-bomb she dropped on her live debut Saturday. NBC tells the Orlando Sentinel's Hal Boedeker that the frickin’ slipup, which viewers were supposed to hear between the lines, is not cause for dismissal. Perhaps Slate can even incorporate the scandal in the future, Boedeker notes—"If there is another Biker Chick Chat."

what do you expect...that was the best "era" of SNL. theyve strived for nearly 15 years to get back to where they once were with myers, carvey, farley, rock, franken, hartman, and all the other heavy hitters of the mid 90s. too bad that type of comedy died with most of the ones who passed, moved on, or changed their styles.

(NEWSER) - Turns out there's something called the "No Cussing Club," and its membership doesn't want you to see tonight's episode of Modern Family, in which a toddler appears to swear. The group has asked ABC to pull the episode of the sitcom because of a storyline in which a 2-year-old girl shocks her parents with a curse word. The toddler said "fudge" during filming, but it will be bleeped to give the impression that she used the F-bomb, reports the AP . More»

The host zinged Casey Anthony, appearing as her new dog in an interview with Seth Meyers, and ripped his shirt off as a lovesick co-worker to Kristen Wiig's Target Lady. Though promoting his new film, The Woman in Black, Radcliffe also revisited his stint as Harry Potter, portraying an aging wizard trying to re-live his glory days at Hogwarts.
