3 Teens Charged With Murder of Chicago Student

Three youths charged as adults, held without bail, for taped killing

(Newser) – Chicago police have charged three teens with the murder of Derrion Albert, the high school honor student whose vicious beating was captured on video and widely circulated. Silvanus Shannon, 19, Eugene Riley, 18, and Eric Carson, 16, were all charged as adults with first-degree murder and ordered held without bail. Carson is on probation for a previous robbery conviction, but the other two do not have criminal records, the Tribune reports.

Observer it has nothing to do whatsoever with the color of a community. If you think Black communities are the only places with these problems, you have serious race issues. Doesn't matter if your Irish, Danish, Hmong, German, Polis, etc, if parents are policing their own children there is always going to be violence in communtities.

The death penalty has been put on hold in Illinois by Governor Ryan. A death-row inmate was within hours of being executed, eventhough innocent. In the end, it was the Chicago Police who framed and railroaded the innocent inmate. Guess who their prime witness was in the frame job? Yup - the real perpetrator of the crime. That's corrupt Chicago police for you.

This isn't about liberal and conservative. Don't try to fit everthing through those filters. How did you feel watching that video? How many violent movies and tv shows do you watch? Who would you have been in that video, including any of the major players, the killers, the would be killers, the vidoegrapher, the victim, the first guy getting beaten up?
