(Newser) – Copenhagen's star power got a big boost today with the arrival of Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey, in town to push Chicago's bid for the Games. Oprah was greeted with "bad weather for hair" and a throng of fans crying "Oprah! Oprah!" as she walked the streets, notes the Chicago Tribune, which offers a bit of Olympic trivia: The first lady's childhood idol was gymnast Nadia Comaneci. Check out photos of their visit to the left.

Go ahead and spread hatred among Americans. Just wait for President Obama to do something and critisize, this country has seen the most haters I've have ever seen. The problem is some white people just cannot stand to see black people doing well. When we were filling up jails they complain, now we filling up the White House they still complain, what could we do? Thank God there are still civilize and loving white people out there and they will always be in the majority so there's no need to worry about the minorities.

"this country has seen the most haters I've have ever seen." .. ..I agree with you and Obama is the worst offender. He has criticized our country over and over. He is called President Pantywaist in the UK.

Hope they have a good time since our tax dollars are paying for it. Bet the food and hotel bills will be astronomical - they usually are - and Europe is expensive. We couldn't afford it. It's only money - our money that is being squandered - yet again. Obama also a a great vacation in Europe before the election on our dime. What else is new. It's called redistribution of wealth - we give - he takes.
