(Newser) – David Letterman is “a master at manipulating audiences,” and he’s not telling the whole story of the alleged extortion plot by Robert Halderman, says Halderman’s attorney. Gerald Shargel did the talk-show circuit this morning, E! reports, and he pointed out to Today that, “in the history of extortion attempts, there's never been, as far as I know, someone paying by check” as Letterman claims to have done.

Yep, how far down the Letterman rabbit hole will we go? I predict deeper than anything Jon & Kate have come up with yet. Another prediction, Dave is going to get reamed BAD on this one and for all the rest of the fallout for very very LARGE Amerkan dollars. He violated the employee's maxim, "NEVER get your...ummm...sex...where you make your bread."

Blah Blah Blah..why are some making a mountai out of a mole hill?...geez...there is nothing wrong with DL dating a co-worker before he was married...If the women he went out with, were forced to do anything against their well...dont you think they would of came forward ? Reply

In this age of sexual harassment do you seriously believe dating/screwing subordinates is a good idea??? Have you been paying any attention AT ALL for these past 20 years?? One of Dave's whores is going to break real bad on his ass and walk away with multi-millions, courtesy of CBS. Boss boinking ho's like $$$ more than doing the boss.
