(Newser) – As Mike Tyson prepares for his Oprah appearance today, ex-wife Robin Givens recalls her abuse at his hands—and gives advice to anyone who is in a similar situation. “Zero tolerance,” she tells OK! “I don’t care if you read his BlackBerry, I don’t care if you yell too loud, I don’t care if you have a big mouth. There’s never any reason for a man to hit you.”

As for Tyson’s Oprah interview, “I think it’s great,” she says. “I stand here before you hoping that he owns up to what he did.” Women enduring abuse must realize “your life is in danger,” she says—but, when thinking about people like Rihanna, Givens admits she does “understand how you can go back. I do understand. The first time I was hit, I wasn’t married, and I went back.”

He was obviously the BEST thing that ever happened to her. She has no career. At least Mike - with All of His troubles tries to learn & admits He makes mistakes. She's missing his Dick & Wallet.

She still talking about Mike. Has she had any men lately? She was just another number for Mike. Hey Robin, stop trying to capitalize on Mike's fame, you have had many men abuse you after Mike? Please move on, because he has. I'm sure he's saying; Robin who?

What Mike Tyson did was reprehensible and wrong. But colluding with Don King to manipulate Mike and take a majority of the proceeds from his many fights was also wrong. She needs to address those accusations.
