Sen. Lindsey Graham drew the ire of teabaggers at a town hall yesterday for colluding with John Kerry on climate legislation. Angry protesters called the South Carolina Republican a “traitor” who made a “pact with the devil” by “going to bed” with the Massachusetts Dem in an op-ed detailing the dangers of CO2 emissions and the like, the Huffington Post reports.

In the New York Times, the two pledged to “find consensus that adheres to our core principles and leads to both a climate change solution and energy independence.” Outrage over Graham’s trespass was not limited to the town hall; in the blogosphere, he’s been labeled not only a “RINO” but also an “asshat” and a “wussypants, girly-man, half-a-sissy.” To make matters worse, Graham has declared “it doesn't bother me one bit” if a solution comes “on President’s Obama’s watch.” (More Lindsey Graham stories.)
