Photo Doesn't Make Me a Slut: Meghan McCain

Overreaction part of 'infuriating' double standard on racy pix

(Newser) – Meghan McCain can’t believe the “immediate and nasty overreaction” to her post of a “funny and silly” self-portrait. She admits that posting a photo showing off her cleavage “is not the smartest thing I have ever done. But it’s just not worth the drama it caused”—and shows some ugly truths about how society treats the female body.

"For years I have struggled to accept the fact that the way I look in a tank top comes off more 'sexual' than a flat-chested woman,” McCain writes for the Daily Beast. “And once again I was reassured by the media that someone with my cup size should always be covered up.” Congressmen Aaron Schock and Jeff Flake take shirtless photos and are called “hotties.” “But put me in a tank top and I am suddenly an embarrassment to the Republican Party and women everywhere. The double standard is infuriating.”

Aw. She's not an embarrassment to women everywhere for wearing a tank top. The tank top embarrassed the GOP, the GOP affiliation is what embarrasses her to women. Reply

I have an idea for a Political Fundraiser for the Republican party? How about dear "little" Meghan and Republican Heidi Montag get nipple to nipple in a little girl on girl fun at the beach, sell the videos and if they toss in Pallin we have a wrap! OK, calm down, just kidding...I mean who really wants to see Pallin naked... or for that matter any of them /smirks

Whats the matter Prowless, you can't handle the fact that your idol put up a cheap shot of herself to gain attention then got called a slut by her Right Wing droolers? Or perhaps your Mom bottle fed you thus depriving you? Better yet are you just one of those uptight bible thumpers who can't stand the sight of a boob? Point is, lighten the hell up and grow a pair and I am not talking about boobs.
