Beck Moves Obama From 'Hitler' to 'Mao'

Hollywood in cahoots with the prez to force us to volunteer

(Newser) – Apparently, Hollywood’s dumb-named “iParticipate” campaign is the worst thing since the Great Leap Forward. Sixty network shows will work volunteerism and community service into the plot this week, and in Glenn Beck’s mind, this, coupled with Obama's own push for volunteerism, is the stuff conspiracies are made of. “Well, this is fantastic. It’s almost like we’re living in Mao’s China right now!” he cried last night; he even had a man sitting on his set dressed as Mao as a visual aid.

What’s so terrible about volunteering? Mostly that President Obama is also in favor of it. “Obama controls the message through the media he holds in his pocket,” Beck declared, predicting grave consequences soon for those who “disobey.”

Not everyone who watches Fox "News" exclusively for their knowledge of current events is below the average range in intelligence. Many such people are just intellectually lazy. This is also true of those who accept, without question, what they were indoctrinated in, as children, about their metaphysical viewpoint.
