Dad Runs Over 'Westernized' Daughter

Police hunt Arizona man after woman critically injured

(Newser) – Police in Arizona are searching for an Iraqi man they believe mowed down his daughter and a friend in a parking lot because she had become "too Westernized" and abandoned traditional Iraqi values. The daughter, 20, is in a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Her friend has been hospitalized with less serious injuries, CNN reports. Friends and family say the father, 48, had previously threatened his daughter because of her lifestyle.

Police are looking for Faleh Hassan Almaleki, 48, who was last seen in a gray or silver Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Islam is a cousin religion to Christianity, as they both came from the common root of Judaism. If one of them dates back to the Stone Age, wouldn't the others, as well?
