Edwards' New Neighbors: Ex-Mistress and Baby

John paying for Rielle Hunter's home; Elizabeth finally on board

Share

(Newser) – After a DNA test—a secret one, of course—proved John Edwards is the father of Rielle Hunter’s baby, the two of them moved in just down the street in a $1 million home quaintly called Marsh Grass, the National Enquirer reports. The shamed pol is paying the $6,550-a-month rent for his former mistress and daughter, and the tab claims that Elizabeth Edwards, who famously refused to utter Hunter's name during her book tour earlier this year, has dropped her objections to the cozy arrangement.

Geezz I am old. First question, when the hell did the National Enquirer become a quotable news source? Second question, IF Elizabeth Edwards has no objections of the man taking care of his child why is this even news? I mean it isn't like he has some fling in South America and flaunts it openly as he seeks "Gods Forgiveness" /shakes head Reply

Interesting to note that it took the Enquirer to break the Edwards story, but the MSM was on the Sanford story like dogs on ham. And BTW, Elizabeth has no objections? Seriously, she can't even say the woman's name....

It may be true but honestly, he is taking care of his child equally to his own children, the child is close so he can spend time with the baby which any father should do. If he is still having a thing with the woman he is an idiot, she didn't keep the "secret" very well the first time and his wife is the real bone head for still putting up with the crap. If she can stomach this piece of work it is none of my business as I don't live in the state that elects him...

Have a kid with a famous rich guy and don't work and live like a queen for the next 18 years. The new white trash ploy! Whatever happened to birth control? Oh yea it doesn't pay as much!
