(Newser) – A woman who says she shredded knee ligaments when she fell during a “Shake it Like Shakira” contest can't sue the New York bar that staged the competition. Calico Jack’s Cantina is off the hook after Megan Zacher's lawyer failed to convince a judge the bar “knew or should have known” that the imitation of Shakira’s patented gyrations by nonprofessionals was “dangerous and likely to cause injury,” the New York Post reports.

Agree - Can we perhaps sue her for not taking any responsibility at all for her own life or should we sue the lawyer who might probably handed her a card from the audience and promised her a no win, no fee deal?!? I can't decide which is worse.

Can we please sue this girl for wasting time and money? It's really crappy that some people in our society stop at nothing to blame everyone but themselves. Stupidity costs money!!!!
