We saw Paranormal Activities last night. Great film! Anyone can (and should) impress an audience with a $250 million dollar budget (Take that James Cameron). But when you can come up with something truly creative and chilling on an $11,000 budget and make 62.5 million after 5 weeks, well then that's what I call brilliant film making. Reply

I totally agree. It was truly frightening. Although the "first person" type shooting wasn't original (Cloverfield, Blair Witch, and now the 4th Kind) the story-line was ingenious.

As it should. The only interesting Saw was the first one and since then it's been a bunch of recycled crap that makes no attempt at an interesting story or actually scaring people and more on satisfying people who look for only gore in a movie. Paranormal Activity, while not the best horror flick, is worlds better than that crap Reply

Liked it, but would have liked better if i didn't start getting motion sickness half way through the movie. I suggest taking a table spoon of ginger right before seeing this movie. Reply

I remember when films didn't make you gag--not from content, but from camera work. I liked it too but It made me as nauseous as my dad's videos of Versailles--oh, here's a floor, wait, look at this ceiling. The only thing odd is that so many people believe that consciousness can survive death. I keep hearing that thing about energy and Thermodynamics, but when my cable box with its DVD recorder died--I lost all my Battlestar Galactica. And, it ain't coming back.
