Four San Jose police officers videotaped as they beat and tasered a college student have been placed on administrative leave pending an official review. A grainy cell phone video shows the officers using nightsticks to repeatedly strike Phuong Ho, 20, after responding to a domestic disturbance call last month. Ho yells out and cries in pain. "I don't think you can watch that video and not be very concerned about what you've seen," said San Jose's police chief.

The officers were called to the residence by Ho's roommate, who complained that Ho threatened to kill him with a steak knife after the roomie spilled soapy water onto Ho’s dinner. The same roommate ended up videotaping the beating.
