Fast-Food Customer Punches Out 'Zombie'

Man's nose broken by attacker freaked out by living dead

(Newser) – A man at a fast food restaurant in Iowa called another customer a zombie and punched him—twice. The victim was slugged in the eye as he stood at the counter to order food near the University of Iowa campus in Iowa City. As he called police on his cell phone his attacker broke his nose with a second punch. The attacker fled out the door.

I've noticed, in the last few years, the elevation of zombies to some kind of higher place in the cultural experience. I don't like it. The dislike does not exhibiting THIS kind of behaviour, but all the same...I just don't get the zombie thing.. Reply
