Noah Cyrus is already taking after her pole-dancing, racy-picture-posing older sister, Miley. The 9-year-old star of her own YouTube reality show was photographed over the weekend in an ill-advised Halloween costume that Australia’s News Network compares to a dominatrix outfit (helpfully offering two examples it found of similar adult costumes), leading one web commenter to wonder, “What is she dressed as? A child prostitute?”
A Disney Girl editor confirmed that magazine would not feel comfortable running pictures of the outfit, which included a tight black lace mini-dress, knee-high platform PVC boots, and, of course, a whole bunch of makeup. “Her parents would have given her the OK, and all responsibility should have been directed back on them,” she says. It’s worth noting that in June, Noah walked the red carpet in a bathing suit that made another magazine editor feel “deeply uncomfortable.”
