(Newser) – In honor of Halloween, LiveScience reveals the most common phobias. If you still need a costume, you'll scare the most people by playing on their evolutionarily sensible fear of creatures with venomous fangs. The top terrors:

  1. Snakes
  2. Spiders and other "creepy crawlies"
  3. Places that are difficult to escape, such as elevators
  4. Other people
  5. Heights

  1. The dark
  2. Bad weather, especially thunder and lightning
  3. Flying
  4. Dogs
  5. The dentist

Living in Florida, snakes, gators,lizards & spiders are cool. The phobias I have are nancy pelosi, high taxes and liberal ignorance. Which seems to be widespead.

Sorry, my brain tells me to be wary of right wing idiots. When was the last time a hippy shot up a church because the "Liberals" took his unemployment away? Killed a bunch of cops because he thought Obama was going to take his guns away? Shot up a holocaust museum because he was an angry old fuck? Just a little tip for you, not all liberals are anti gun.
