(Newser) – The Lohans continue to carry out their family squabbles via the press, with Michael most recently responding to Dina and Lindsay’s request that he stop talking with an ultimatum of his own. “As far as Lindsay is concerned, if she goes into a rehab, I will stop,” he tells Radar, claiming that he has been attempting to “help” his daughter privately for a year now.

“When that didn’t work, it was recommended to me to go public, like Martin Sheen and others did, in order to put pressure on Lindsay,” he says. “I am sorry I had to take this route, but I have tried and tried to help Linds and I have been lied about long enough.”

Maybe he's a good daddy at the end of his rope. You can't stop being a father, you can't stop trying to help.

I wish we could send these people to Afghanistan. Let them win the hearts and minds of those who hate us. ; )-~
