Police Find 11th Body at Rapist's House

First victim identified, a 53-year-old woman missing for a year

(Newser) – Cleveland police found another body at the home of convicted rapist Anthony Sowell, bringing the total to 11. Law enforcement also identified the first victim found as 53-year-old Tonia Carmichael, who went missing last November. "We expected the worst when these bodies starting popping up," a relative tells the Cleveland Plain Dealer. "We knew she could be one of them.” All the victims are black females, and at least five were strangled.

You gotta figure that a guy who lives with rotting corpses is 95% of the way towards an insanity plea. How are you going to argue against it? Reply

He was honorably discharged from the Military and was able to meet his parole requirements. That will work against his insanity plea.

I agree with Mia. He is not insane in the way that we think of insanity. Legal inanity is a different thing and that is why Jeffery Dahlmer who slept for days with corpses and kept heads in the fridge and a pot of intestines on the stove was found sane. PS when he was 15 his not so sweet mom left to be with another man. Left him alone in the house, because he didn't matter to her.
