(Newser) – Only a dramatic reading by William Shatner can give Levi Johnston’s tweets the gravity they truly deserve. Shatner visited The Tonight Show yesterday to poeticize Twitter gems such as, “Maybe I’m a genius and not even know it. Maybe I don’t exist and it only seems like I do. Maybe this is a parallel universe where I don’t,” and the follow-up, “Anybody know where I can get some good weed?” Watch the video at left.

Wow. How did we arrive at this point in time when Liberals are more grounded than Conservatives and the latter keeps pulling our society "through the looking glass"? The whole Palin-Beck scene is an acid trip. ---- Maybe we HAVE migrated to a parallel universe. Reply

OK, wait. Conservatives believe in religious myths. Conservatives want laws to force people to live according to their values rather than make laws that deal with reality. Conservatives believe that Saddam Hussein was behind 9-11, that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, and that Obama was not born in the U.S. Who is more grounded? dax, do you know what "grounded" means???

Thinker - there was a time (decades ago) that one of the more visible features about the Liberal Left was its radical members who garnered a disproportionate amount of media pushing wacky ideas that 80% of American could not relate to. --- This has flip flopped and NOW it is the Right that has a monopoly on "loco". ---- This is bad for the truly functional Conservatives who do have something important to contribute to our society--- As a whole, the Right/Conservatives HAVE become ungrounded, unmoored and are reduced to grasping at political tactics.--- This piece on Levi Johnston is yet another bit of detritus from the lurching, disoriented Conservative Right.
