(Newser) – As he hit her, Rihanna says, Chris Brown had “no soul in his eyes,” and he left her bleeding and swollen. The singer didn't hold back in the second part of her interview with Diane Sawyer on today’s Good Morning America, saying, "All I kept thinking all the time: When is it going to stop?” She continued, "There was no way of me getting home, except to get out of the car and walk. Start walking in a gown, in a bloody face. So I really don't know what my plan was. I didn't have a plan. That whole night was not part of my plan."

But she doesn’t hate him—“I actually love and care about him,” she says, adding that she hopes he’ll “grow up and learn.” When the pair, who initially reunited, finally broke up for good, “I just said to him, 'I can't do this.' I resented him. I resented him so much.” Rihanna called Brown her “first big love” and recalling their romance as an “obsession.” She confirms the fight began over a text message, saying, “I caught him in a lie.”

To fall in love with your best friend can be scary. The emotions get the best of you. Like it takes over. The more in love we became, the more dangerous we became for each other, equally as dangerous. - Rihanna

I caught him in a lie. And he wouldn't tell the truth. I couldn't take that he kept lying to me. And he couldn't take that I wouldn't drop it. And it was ugly. - Rihanna, on how the fight started

I was bleeding. I was swollen in my face. So there was no way of me getting home, except for, my next option was to get out of the car and walk. Start walking in a gown, in a bloody face. So I really don't know what my plan was.
- Rihanna

No sympathy here for her. Obviously she's using the time she got beat up by Brown as a gimmick to sell her CD that is about ready to drop.

When will this stop????? People need to find something worthwhile to get upset about. Like the way our government is heading. Get a grip and move on. This has been over for a long time now. You know the SOB won't change. Mark my word he will do it again. We haven't seen the last of him. As for Rhino at least he is out of her life, as much as we know. She needs to move on too and get a life. Just goes to prove people like them will do anything to stay in the news.

alka, just because people buy shamwows and pet rocks doesn't make them good products. i was subjected to rihanna's music, which assaulted my ears, and i say it is dreck. i don't care how much $ she made from it, money doesn't validate quality. nope, i am not a musician. are you? i never wished her harm. i just can't stand her “mewzik, nothing but the mewzik”. make a cogent argument for the finer points of that song and let's see if you've got any game. as for my other point, beating someone up is NOT a rite of passage for growing up, the way rihanna attributes and dismisses chris brown's physical attack on her. she went back to him after he beat her. she still hasn't spoken out against him. she still loves him. clearly, she is delusional.
