Drunk Driver Calls Cops to Report Stolen Weed

Man sought help in tracking down another intoxicant

(Newser) – A 21-year-old Oregon man called police to report that ¾ of an ounce of marijuana had been stolen from his car while he was drinking in a bar. After waiting for deputies, he began driving—despite being drunk—and called 911 again to complain. Dispatchers found him difficult to understand, though, because he kept pausing to vomit. When police found the man, he told them he was looking for the people who stole his “weed.” They arrested him for driving under the influence, the Statesman Journal reports.

Ah, but he was drunk and not high at the time, so technically he made the drinkers look like morons. :D

How stupid does he feel today? True pot story....I had a manager who smoked and both of us traveled for our company. We used to joke that it was our job to find out who smoked pot in the field offices. On a trip to Indiana, his herb was stolen a coat he left in the closet of his hotel room. Of course, it had to be the maid, right? Well, he goes and tells the management about it. His reasoning? He didn't have it anymore so he can't be busted, he didn't intend to ever stay there again and they needed to know they had a thief on their staff. Wish I still worked for him.... Reply
