Just in Time for Xmas: Weezer Snuggie

Act now! For a limited time only!

(Newser) – If you want to destroy Rivers Cuomo's sweater, he's down with that: The Weezer frontman would prefer to wear a Weezer Snuggie anyway, which he's hawking right alongside the band's new album. The stunt comes complete with an infomercial in which bandmembers parade around in their Snuggies—yours for only $29.99! But wait: If you act now, you can get a free copy of Ratitude!

"Well, like Weezer, Snuggies are just this weird, cool product that everyone seems to like," Cuomo tells NPR. "They're really popular, and you can't really figure out why. So we figured it's a good match."

For the low-low price of only $30, you can snag a Weezer snuggie. Oh, and the latest CD.

It's actually great to play in a Snuggie. Your arms are free, so you can play guitar and drums, or you can do big rock poses—unlike a blanket that would be falling all over the place. - Rivers Cuomo

CUOMO IS SO FULL OF HIMSELF just because you have the formula for a 'catchy pop song' doesn't mean your shit don't stank....in fact, i think i still smell the red album...

Weezer sucks now. Plain and simple. I don't know what the hell Rivers is thinking.

Somebody's Snuggie is crowding my ice box. Somebody's warm one is giving me chills. Guess I'll just close my eyes...
