(Newser) – A South Korean navy ship fired warning shots at a North Korean vessel early Tuesday off the countries’ disputed west coast; the North’s ship was damaged and returned the salvo. No casualties were immediately reported. South Korean officials tell Yonhap the North crossed into their territorial waters; the North does not recognize the same demarcation.
