Boston Subway Just Misses Woman

Driver, another employee honored for quick action

(Newser) – A Boston subway train came to a screeching halt just before hitting a woman who had fallen onto the tracks. She told authorities afterward she'd been drinking. Both the train's driver and another Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority employee have been hailed as heroes for their quick action.

Because I'm sure you never had too much to drink or made a mistake before. While she's clearly in the wrong, it's something that could happen to anybody and I am sure will never happen to that woman again.

Hey, at least she was not drinking and driving and she is likely someone's wife, girlfriend, daughter, sister, etc. who was just having too good of a time until that moment. Most of us have partied a bit too hard at one time or another. Kudo's to the 2 women who saved the day....
