White House's Fox News Foe Stepping Down

Communications director Anita Dunn leaving as planned

(Newser) – President Obama’s communications director will cede her post to a deputy at the end of the month, Chris Cillizza has learned. Anita Dunn notably took on the Fox Network and accused it of being a Republican mouthpiece. Dunn, who said from the start she was taking the post on an interim basis, will turn over the job to Dan Pfeiffer.

A source tells Cillizza, writing on his The Fix blog at the Washington Post, that Dunn’s departure may allow the administration to distance itself from the Fox attacks. In fact, some think she only launched them in the first place because she was there temporarily. The newcomer, Pfeiffer, served as a traveling press secretary on the Obama campaign.

All administrations are amateurish.

Some victory. She was an interim communications director "she was there temporarily" and "Dunn, who said from the start she was taking the post on an interim basis". Way to take credit for something no one was trying to accomplish.

RobN, did you not read the article? She was in an interim position, OR to simplify it for you. TEMPORARY.
