In her new book, Carrie Prejean claims Donald Trump weeds less-than-attractive girls out of the Miss USA pageant, and TMZ says she’s right. In an audio tape from the 2009 pre-show screening, the Donald executes “The Trump Rule,” which declares that almost half of the women who advance are selected—based on looks, naturally—by he and his staff, because before he bought the pageant, “the most beautiful people were never chosen,” he says.

In arguably the best portion of the recording, Trump talks up his son to the ladies: “Eric Trump. I have a son, he's very handsome, he's 6 foot 6 and he was number one in his class in school.” The Donald tells TMZ his “Trump Rule” is “why Miss Universe and Miss USA get such good ratings and that is why Miss America is off the air.”
