Dow Falls 94, Snaps Streak

Dow ends six-day run as energy stocks slump

(Newser) – Stocks slumped today as energy firms lost value in line with a decline in crude prices and the tech sector, MarketWatch reports.

  • The Dow fell 94 points to close at 10,197.
  • The Nasdaq lost 18 points, settling at 2,149.
  • The S&P 500 dropped 11 points to 1,087.
