(Newser) – The heaviest snow in northern China in at least 60 years has killed at least 38 people and caused half a billion dollars in damage. At least two deaths were caused by building collapses, according to state media. The unusually early winter storms have caused chaos in Beijing and the surrounding provinces, and have forced the evacuation of 150,000 people, AP reports.
