(AP) – Tiger Woods has won the Australian Masters for his seventh victory of the year, closing with a 4-under 68 for a victory that drew record crowds at Kingston Heath. In his first trip Down Under in 11 years, Woods put on quite a show for his $3 million appearance fee.

Woods pulled away from a three-way tie for the lead with three birdies on his opening six holes today, then seized control with a tee shot that covered the flag and stopped 6 feet away for birdie on the 15th. He now has won 82 times around the world in 13 countries.

He has only won in 13 countries? He has a long ways to go if he wants to conquer the world. I hope he plays in the Vatican next. The Pope really needs to be shown who is really the King.

Hell yeah. Just a day ago they were righting the man off. That's a true champ right there. The ability to win on a bad day and turn things around like that takes real mental discipline and an attitude I could only dream of having one day!
