(Newser) – If there’s anyone who knows how it feels to have a sex tape leaked—and the profit that can be gained—it’s former Playmate Shauna Sand, and she says Carrie Prejean should just release hers. In a letter to Prejean, she says she was “stunned and terrified” when Vivid Entertainment obtained her video earlier this year, but soon realized she could take the reins—and a chunk of the cash—herself, TMZ reports.

She told Vivid “I wanted to be involved in the marketing of the movie as I really cared about it,” and says “I’m really glad I made that decision. I’m proud of my body.” Though she recommends Prejean take the same route, it seems unlikely: The former Miss California’s lawyer threatened to sue Vivid if it releases anything without her permission, as the company apparently plans to do, TMZ adds.
