LA Cops Bust Pot Operation Next Door

Indoor marijuana farm sniffed out after 8 months

Share

(Newser) – California's boldest—or dumbest—pot growers have been arrested after LAPD officers sniffed out their growing operation in a warehouse just 25 feet from a police station. The sophisticated enterprise was up and running for some 8 months before officers caught a whiff of the product in their parking lot last week and launched a surveillance operation, the Los Angeles Times reports.

The farmers were found with around 850 marijuana plants growing inside a warehouse.

The farmers had attempted to plug every hole where air could come out of the warehouse, police say.

Thank god they are spending so much time and energy on finding weed, less harmful that legal alcohol, when they have people like Phillip Garrido living in their state with abducted kids living in the back yard for 18 years. Reply

It's good to know that all crime has been erradicated in Los Angeles, so the cops have nothing better to do than bust flower growers. Reply
