Lawyers representing Casey Anthony, accused of murdering her daughter, Caylee, are attempting to cast suspicion on another suspect who has been cleared by police. Roy Kronk, a meter reader, found the Florida toddler’s body and notified police. After interviews with ex-wives and family, Anthony's defense team has concluded Kronk is “equally as likely to be responsible for the death of the child,” ABC News reports.

In video testimony made by the defense, one ex claims Kronk beat her and restrained her with duct tape—also found on Caylee’s body. Another ex-wife said, “Roy talks so many untruths. When he does talk the truth, you just can't believe it.” And his son has supposedly said Kronk knew of the body a month before he “found” it in December. The defense wants the jury to view the videos; Kronk’s lawyer doesn’t seem worried. “They're doing what you'd expect,” he says. (More Casey Anthony stories.)
