Hecklers accuse her of 'quitting on the job'

(Newser) – Sarah Palin ticked off about 150 fans in Noblesville, Ind., last night by bailing on a book signing earlier than expected. Though the first 1,000 people who bought Going Rogue from the local Borders got wristbands that were supposed to ensure they'd get their copies signed, Palin got back on her tour bus right at 9. One fan loudly accused her of "quitting on the job," as you can see in the video at left.

"Went to the book signing in Noblesville, IN," reads a dissatisfied fan's comment on Palin's Facebook page, the Washington Independent reports. "Waited three hours in the cold to get a wristband to reserve my spot at the book signing tonight. We were told she would sign book for the first 1000 people. Not so. The event ended promptly at 9:00pm, though there were still at least 150 people left. Wasted my day, wasted money on a babysitter, and wasted my money on this book."

The story is about how she completely abandoned those who are making her rich...she did not have the decency to wait a little longer to make sure all those who came to see her were satisfied. @luv well the idea for unemployment could have been taken care of by basically doing what the republicans wanted and that was nothing. since we haven't spent 20% of the stimulus and the white house job counts have been proven as inaccurate you can hardly say that plan is working or is really to be given any credit for anything. So that do nothing plan seems to be going along quite well. As for Wall Street again these things are cyclic. Bush had a recession at the beginning of his term and we made it out with the plan that the President is now adapting but thought was so stupid during the campaign and that is tax cuts for small businesses to encourage hiring and keep more money in the pockets of me and you. Now I i am not a palin supporter and if you my posts i said as soon as she quit she wasn't worth my time. Now I give the President a pass most of the time since he hasn't even been in office for a year, I place most of the blame on congress which if you bothered to read what I wrote you would know that. I will remember what you said about piling, but reverse the roles and say this was Michelle Obama. Do you think that is a little over the top? Did palin give bad interviews, yes. was she behind on forgiegn policy, yes. does she really deserve all of this crap that the left seems to think is perfectly fine to do to a woman? probably not but again this is America and you are allowed to hate whoever you want.

Arrange for the store to remain open to accommodate the people who stood in line to see her. Not a fan of Palin, but if you promise to sign the books of 1000 people, perhaps it would be best to ensure that you follow through. Seriously, how difficult would it have been to personally talk to the manager to approve overtime to accommodate these people?

then the store should have only given wrist-bands to 500 people and done a "first come first serve" for the rest. Otherwise, stay open and do what you said you'd do, which is make sure 1000 people got the book signed. It's not rocket science, it's just good business.
