Glenn Beck is fashioning himself into a political organizer. Beck unveiled his promised "big plan" today at a Florida rally, in a letter to supporters, and in an interview with the New York Times. He plans a series of educational "conventions" across the country to teach people "how to be a political force," along with voter-registration drives. These will culminate in August or September with a DC march that will coincide with—ta da—the release of a new Beck book on solutions called The Plan.

“We’ll be looking for ways to get people involved in politics,” he tells the Times. “I hear people saying, ‘OK, now what?’ They’re calling their representative, but it’s time to get more proactive.” (More Glenn Beck stories.)
