First State Dinner to Reveal Obama A-Listers

(Newser) – Washington notables are still scrambling for an invitation to the White House state dinner Tuesday in honor of Indian prime minister Manmohan Singh. The event, to be held in a heated tent on the South Lawn, will display who’s truly on Obama’s A-list, and the lobbying for a seat has likely been "relentless," says Dee Dee Myers, former Clinton press secretary. The guest list is a closely guarded secret, but some are near-certainties: Oprah Winfrey, Chicago hotelier Penny Pritzker, businessman Marty Nesbitt, and physician Eric Whitaker.

"The first state dinner is always the most dramatic," Myers tells the Los Angeles Times. "First impressions are important. That's your A list, that's your top game right there. By the time you get to the eighth state dinner, it'll be a lot less important."

Who gives a rat's potute being on A-list to a solicalist America killing,bowing,disrepecting the Queen of England,black belt, nobel winner, hoop shootet who has no respect for AMERICA or it's moral values he got from the reverend communist. enuff said. Bring it on lesbians (I mean libes) sorry they both sound alike.

Leave it to Barry Hussein Sotoro to be the first president to hold a WH state dinner in a tent!!!! I know that his muslim friends just love tents, but there have been many, many WH dinners "inside the White House". I know they don't need the tent for room!!!! Leave it to Hussein the muslim to spend tax payers dollars for something that is not needed. Boy he loves to live large. I wonder if Michell will be wearing her penata dress because the Indians really love a lot of color. Man that dress has it plus some. Reply

Goes to show that a muslim man can have a big beautiful home with all the furnishings and he wants to move to a tent!!!!!!! I guess Hussein wants to be outside so he can show off all his cars and of course the family garden. Where will the restrooms be? I guess all the ladies in their best dresses will have to wait in line for a can to become available or like most muslims they can go in a hole in the ground. Such class and style!!!!!!!! mmmm mmmm mmmm Reply
