Not-guilty plea likely in Fort Hood shooting

(AP) – Maj. Nidal Hasan, the Army psychiatrist accused of killing 13 people in a shooting spree at Fort Hood, Texas, will likely plead not guilty to the charges against him and may use an insanity defense at his military trial, his attorney said today. John Galligan, the civilian attorney for Hasan, said he is considering an insanity defense among other options, but that it's too early to determine his defense strategy.

"Based on the evidence thus far, his mental status must be raised," Galligan said. "Anybody who allegedly engages in conduct that is completely contradictory to his lifestyle and military career—an insanity defense has to be considered."

What's the religion of peace? Come on people, if youa re just gonna say Islam is a religion of hate, because many people misunderstand the teaching of the Koraa, you could say the same about the Christians that stick to their bible and also kill in the name of God,, so yea, if you truly think that any religion leads to peace, you should take into account that not everyone is following the doctrines and teachings on which religions ar ebased, that's why I chose to be agnostic, however you can assume I am muslim, or christian, or whatever you want, and start discussing nonsensely why your religion is better. That really helps and has solved many problems: imean look at The Israeli/Palestinian conflict, the Russians and Chechenians, etc. Religions divides people, and leads to war, you should realise this.

well dontlikeyou, if you want to have a fair and balanced opinion on things, you shouldnt just be reading conservative news, believe me, i also read conservative news, to get the 2 sides of the story, i do however find more sanity on news sources liek CNN than Fox News, which, if you can recall, even uses false images to give false impressions to its viewers
