Exactly. And it's a double edged sword: no one should really be as lewd (in my opinion of course) as they are on TV, but gays (and straight people who perform the way Adam did) should be able to do those lewd acts without anyone raising their voices any more than they do for anyone else.

Sexually gratuitous behavior on the part of entertainers has been accepted for many years now. The only way to be remembered is to one up everyone else. However, the kiss, the mimed blow job...it's all been done before. How he one upped the others? Male on male. If all the recipients of his sexually gratuitous behavior were female, this would not have been news. Even the so called religious fundies of all ilks have little to say about the sexualization of our culture these days...as long as it's hetero. You go, Adam.
