Brooklyn police have discovered the body of a baby belonging to a woman forced into prostitution by a sex trafficking couple. The tiny body of the 2-month-old baby boy was encased in cement in a cooler in a flophouse. The baby's mom, an illegal Mexican immigrant, was beaten and forced into prostitution and was not allowed to obtain medical help when her infant fell ill, police said. The baby's father was the woman's pimp, reports the New York Daily News.
The sex ringleaders smuggled illegal immigrants into New York and forced them to work off their smuggling fees selling sex, police said. "It's horrific," said a woman who works nearby. "I can't believe they did this to a baby." The ringleaders have been arrested and the woman is recovering from injuries suffered from abuse.
