(Newser) – Along with food and football, Thanksgiving brings a heaping serving of parades, from the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade, the country's longest-running at 90, to the Macy's tradition in Manhattan, which today bypassed Broadway for the first time in its 83 years. Miss America Katie Stam shared the Statue of Liberty float in the Macy's parade with Meb Keflezighi, the first American in 11 years to win the New York City Marathon.
