(Newser) – Sean Hannity's interview with Sarah Palin helped him achieve a rare feat: his show beat the O'Reilly Factor as the top-rated cable news program of the week. Hannity's Nov. 18 interview drew 4.2 million viewers, a shade above Bill O'Reilly's talk with her the next night at 4.12 million. O'Reilly's long been the ratings king, but Hannity's been closing fast. Watching with interest is IrishCentral, which sees it as an epic battle between two "Celtic warriors."

Both Hannity and O'Reilly are nuts. Screaming down their guests. If that's all I had to watch on TV, then there would be no TV in my home. Reply

While that is true, O'Reilly is orders of magnitude better than Hannity. At least O'Reilly can go an entire show without contradicting himself. Hannity, however, is pretty much the dumbest person to have a television show. When Hannity and Colmes was on, my brother and I just called the show "Dumb and Ugly." However, when Colmes left, we realized that we had each been calling a different person Dumb, and Ugly, respectively.

I watch Hannity religiously. I even make my mom watch with me. He is better than Obama's black preacher. Hannity loves America and wants the Libs to stop tearing her down. I agree with everything Hannity says because he is right, all the time. I only wish I could polish his knob.

I agree...only someone that needs public exposure woulld go on these talk shows..and when I say "talk" I mean self-centered scream sessions where the host screams and interrupts and does any other inappropriate thing..and people like entertatinment,,so don't expect intelligent discussion of any issue..so 4.12 million of those 270 million Americans enjoy this..and we should find out their level of education...job level etc. and see if these entertainers get a GOOD cross section of the country..i don't think so Reply
