Alleged Mistress: I Didn't Have Affair With Tiger
But 'National Enquirer' says she's lying

The woman accused by the National Enquirer of having an affair with Tiger Woods says the accusations aren't true. "I did not have an affair with Tiger Woods," Rachel Uchitel tells US Weekly. "I met him twice and have not heard from him since." She wished him a speedy recovery, but added, "I don't understand why anyone would think this is anything to do with me."
Not so, says the Enquirer, which released part of its story online today. The main on-the-record source is Ashley Samson, described as a "close friend" of Uchitel, a New York City events planner. Samson and others tell the tabloid that Uchitel had been bragging of an affair with Woods, and showing off cell phone texts, since June. For her part, Uchitel says she offered to take a polygraph test, but the paper "refused it." Meanwhile, Tiger and his wife again postponed questioning by state troopers and are scheduled to meet with them tomorrow.
