(Newser) – A gunman entered a coffee shop in Washington state this morning and opened fire, killing four police officers, reports the Tacoma News Tribune. The three men and one woman, who were wearing bulletproof vests as they prepared to start their shifts, appear to have been targeted and not the victims of robbery. "It looks like a flat-out ambush," said a police spokesman. "Someone came in and opened fire."

Tacoma--not Seattle. Though, no matter where, this is an horrific act that this liberal or progressive or actually just pro-choice, that's it poster, leans toward a capital punishment that I don't favor. I got an open mind and the world is changing me--I ain't changing it.

This is great sadness...as when these men and women, from all parts decide to become police officers to protect and serve the community they belong to, they also put their lives at risk every single day. It is not an easy career. There is constant give and take. They know there someone has to do this and so they decide that they will. I pray that each of these police officers, not only police officers, but community officers, volunteers, as they are, may rest in peace and the Lord is there with them and their families. Thank you for serving our communities. Thank you for thinking of others and choosing lives to make sure citizens may be safe. You will not be forgotten. Reply
