Catholics Cross Over Joanna Krupa's Nude PETA Ad
Joanna Krupa irked the Catholic Church with this ad for PETA, and another in which Krupa--a Catholic herself--holds her dog and a rosary.   (PETA)

The Catholic League and PETA: Both are pretty set in their ways, making Joanna Krupa’s racy, cross-bearing ad for the animal rights organization a perfect storm of controversy. The League isn’t happy that the Playboy model “exploits Christian symbols” by appearing as a nude angel covered only by a crucifix, Us reports. Krupa, whose ad protests animal breeding, snarkily shoots back, “It's understandable that the Catholic League is wary of another sex scandal, but the sex we're talking about pertains to dogs and cats.” Zing!
