President Obama's speech on the Afghanistan troop buildup bumped the annual airing of A Charlie Brown Christmas, really ticking off the mayor of Arlington, Tenn. He apparently hasn't heard that nothing is private on Facebook, where he vented about TV scheduling: "Ok, so, this is total crap, we sit the kids down to watch 'The Charlie Brown Christmas Special' and our muslim president is there, what a load," wrote the curiously named Russell Wiseman, who runs a town about 30 miles northeast of Memphis.

"You guys are trying to make a mountain out of a molehill," Wiseman told a Commercial Appeal reporter—but the mayor got there first. "Try to convince me that wasn't done on purpose," he wrote of the pre-emption. "Ask the man if he believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and he will give you a 10 minute disertation [sic]." Incidentally, A Charlie Brown Christmas will air on Tuesday in its original time slot—7 Central, if you have the honor of being Wiseman's constituent.
