(Newser) – Everyone knows about the first “Miracle on the Hudson”—less well-known is the second, the story of two people brought together by Captain Chesley Sullenberger’s heroic landing. Ben Bostic first noticed Laura Zych before takeoff at the airport; they ended up sitting in different rows on Flight 1549 and were on separate rescue boats. But at a July reunion party Zych hosted, there was an immediate spark, New York reports.

The two stayed up until 6am talking, and Bostic ended up crashing at her place—“I didn’t think of it until the next day, but it was the second time I crashed" with her, he says. The pair, who have been dating ever since, now ends every day by dancing: “We do that as part of our decompressing and loving life,” Zych says. "Just so that your day ends on a good note."
