In Lieberman Rage, Michael Moore Urges Conn. Boycott
Michael Moore's Twitter plea/threat.   (Twitter)

Filmmaker Michael Moore fired the latest salvo from Joe Lieberman’s left today, calling on the citizens of Connecticut to get the senator out of office or face a national shunning. “People of Connecticut: What have u done 2 this country?” Moore tweeted. “We hold u responsible. Start recall of Lieberman 2day or we’ll boycott your state.”

Lieberman, the Democrat-turned-independent, is villain-du-jour for liberals focused on health-care reform, as his opposition to various government-funded options has helped drive them out of the Senate’s bill. However, the Hill notes, there’s no provision in Connecticut law to recall a sitting politician.
