Out For Patriot Blood, Chargers Come Up Empty

(Newser) – The Patriots answered criticism over their illegal cameras with a picture-perfect clobbering of the San Diego Chargers last night. Starting out no-huddle once again, the Pats' offense was electric: Tom Brady completed 25-of-31 for 279 yards, 105 of those from Randy Moss, who caught two of Brady's three touchdown passes.

Patriots linebacker Adalius Thomas ran an interception back 65 yards for a touchdown, Sammy Morris put up 51 yards and another touchdown, and Laurence Maroney contributed 77 yards to the dominant performance that prompted Charger Lorenzo Neal to explain that the 2-0 Patriots “just jumped on us like a spider monkey.”
